Within these walls

If through these walls, we can hear the stories long ago
Those BBGS dreams their hopes and more
If through these walls, we can see the days before
We'll see the joy, the rise and growth
Every smile that greets hello

Names may change and faces pass
But the tune's the same we'll make it last
We'll learn these words before they come to pass
BBGS in my heart, ten decades we've grown to love
Add a hundred more, my heart will still belong
Within these cherished walls

Here on these walls, I found meanings of love
To conquer fears to wipe the sorrow tears
Here I learnt of friends, learnt to give a helping hand
And when I'm lost, they'll guide my way with God's will till the end...

Names may change and faces pass
But the tune's the same we'll make it last
We'll learn these words before they come to pass
Within these walls we've built our lives
For a hundred years it stayed with us
Let us keep it standing strong...

Lyrics and music by Raja Ismahan and Nik Serena - winners of the BBGS Centenary Song Competition, 1993

Really love the song....but my juniors in SMK SB(U)may not learn that song since it's co-ed....Coral Speaking Competition at class level isn't done but only selected students represent the school for Choral Speaking Competition at school level...really sad...boys did destroy the joy of improving standard of English among the students....

Also now Pavillion is now the place to hang out for youngsters no more memory of BBGS.....well, you should visit the BBGS Museum one of these days in SMK SB(U)...the school still keep the old iteams and trophies found in BBGS....

I am from the very first batch of boys to be declared official students of SMKSB(U)...and please, for the love of God stop blaming us for all it's faults...i'm not denying that the disipline has dropped, but don't be so sure that all your girls walked around with a halo on their head...

I do not like to go to pavillion for that plain reason that it is sitting on the ground of that once great school...i fell in love with this song ever since i heard the school choir sing it for some occasion... because it seemed to bring back the school from its grave...
